A totem made from rammed earth is fitted with environmental sensors and an AI mediator. It's purpose: promoting a sustainable coexistence that highlights the mutual dependency of all life on Earth. This research-driven design project aims to nurture the interconnectedness of humans, technology, and the local environment.

29th of March 2024 - Installation for Moving Closer, at Roodkapje in Rotterdam
Urban samples filmed under a microscope in a laboratory. Close-ups of ferrofluids dancing to magnets. Zoomed in perspectives that revealed pattern-rich inner movements projected onto half-translucent fabrics from multiple angles.

2nd of March 2024 - Installation for Generator, organised by Anechoic Station Berlin and Backside Radio
Visual installation and lighting for the unique opportunity of a dance-event in a nuclear warhead depot from the cold war. The system controlled DMX lights and projectors in the stage area and projected ambient visuals in a separate zone.

2022 - AI programming for Cor Langerak
At the start of every performance, an AI generates a script. The generated play is performed live on the spot by a group of four actors. There is no prior rehearsal, and the material written by the AI is new and completely unknown. A collaboration emerges between the technology, the actors, the audience, and the unpredictability of the moment.
